Why Income Inequality is insidious.
Income inequality is a disparity of wealth between the rich and the poor.
Income inequality can be a good thing, as it incentivizes laborious work and compels people to achieve success.
However, if income inequality becomes too unequal, it creates a negative influence on societal health- as myriad studies show that higher income disparities creates an environment in which plutocratic control of the market becomes common, and government favoritism towards currently bloated monopolies becomes the norm.
Democracy is destroyed and Plutocracy becomes the new political system.
Many of these monopolistic corporations rely on machiavellian lobbyists and patent trolls to curtail competition from underdog businesses.
Because of this monopolistic environment, newbie inventors are deprived of any recognition for their creativity as corporations can utilize organized racketeers to intimidate potential inventors who will contribute much progress to society.

This is called "buying out" potential inventors in laymen's terms, and it stifles economic growth in the long run, as many of these inventors could provide increased development of new markets which would drastically increase competition and lower prices for ordinary consumers as the supply of new technologies would lead to more economic growth.
Many studies demonstrate that income inequality causes reduced social capital and reduces investment in human capital for younger generations.
Social capital, the communitarian glue that brings families together and creates a sense of unity in society, derives from human capital and higher levels of egalitarianism, or feelings of equality among society.
Social capital is the glue that unites members of society together and provides a trusting framework between consumers and business owners.
Social capital is also the amiable connections people generate between common members of society, and this leads to ameliorated levels of trust and lower levels of discord in that particular society.
As society gains egalitarian levels of wealth between diverse populations and incomes between the poor and rich narrow, most people feel a closer sense of comradeship and a mutual understanding of each other.
Business owners feel emotionally connected to their customers and customers understand what business owners are trying to do- trying to make a living just like everyone else in their society.
Human capital consists of the multitude of skills and knowledge people can contribute to the economy, and it usually comes in the form of affordable education and the accumulation of expertise in a particular trade.
Human capital, like higher education, is essential for the realization of income mobility and it's a pivotal component that makes the economy operate more efficiently, as many workers are proficient in their duties and have the competence to perform their jobs effectively.
When poor families lack the fiscal resources needed to properly raise their children and dedicate their savings for their child's proper development in the form of higher education, it dismantles and stifles income mobility, and many successive generations will continue to lack the proficiencies and the resources to overcome their poverty, because most of their finances will be dedicated towards simply surviving and not trying to improve themselves.
This creates a no hope situation for impoverished families, and many struggle to reach a successful status in life.
As vastly unequal income distributions dismantles potential investment in human development, when middle-class families lose certain subsidies that makes it easier for them to provide better education for their child, social capital is also diminished from the increasing poverty resulting from poverty traps;
When income inequality increases, poor people become more poverty stricken and this leads to acts of desperation- criminal behavior manifested as a way to overcome their own sense of deprivation- as the impoverished lead a life of potential crime, desperate to make ends meet and earn a steady income.
Much of the criminal behavior possible from income inequality, as human capital diminishes, when much of the inner city residents lose absolute hope and trust in their system, include prostitution (which I feel needs to be legal) and robbery.
As people feel socially isolated and estranged from communitarian life, due to more suspiciousness among members of society from the heightened criminal activity resulting from lower social capital and increased urbanization, more unsuccessful citizens will participate in gangs to create a sense of social acceptance- as most of these desperate citizens having missed their healthy milestones in proper social development, as their parents were too busy working extremely long hours at little pay- these psychologically troubled souls will participate in dangerous criminal cartels to make ends meet, while hopelessly fulfilling an insatiable desire for peer acceptance in the most dangerous way possible.
For example, much of the future human capital that could be invested in a child's future or providing children with future higher education would be available if impoverished families had the crucial resources needed to properly manage their families, and if the government stepped in towards partially nationalizing higher education.
Most privatization is ideal, as myriad studies suggest a connection between privatization of competitive government services and increased efficiency, but when private contractors are chosen not on their worthiness but on how much slush funds the mayor is willing to accept, and when corruption runs rampant between private contractors and public officials, is the only issue regarding privatization. This not only distorts the performance of the economy, as it stifles productive performance and pushes out better competitors, but it vitiates the proper effectiveness of the government to manage social services like child protective agencies.
Another issue of mass privatization is where only a single private contractor is selected out of political bribery and when the government creates a monopsony- when the private contractor stipulates the government to allow these private contractors to face no additional competition from other credible contractors.
These hooligan private contractors are rigging the system in their favor and promoting unreasonable demands from the government, like bribing law officials to expand the definition of neglect, which makes it legally easy for them to essentially kidnap non-abused children so they can nefariously obtain a hefty profit.
Corruption is just one of the problems associated with mass privatization.
France, although not a very capitalistic country, has less brain drain within its borders because higher education is considered paramount for the accumulation of service based jobs, like medical practitioners which require the necessary knowledge to properly help their patients.
When tuition costs are higher, due to myriad reasons related to private educational contractors inflating demand through crony capitalism and anti-competitive practices, the price of education increases and this leaves many potentially gifted individuals unable to afford a higher education, while the vacuous elites are capable of gaining access to the advantages of higher education, and this has a disastrous effect on the economy as many incompetent elites are capable of succeeding. This leaves a scar on the potential of an economy.
Human capital- the necessary set of skills future workers need that helps them contribute a substantial amount of productivity to the workplace, can only be adequately provided if education was more effective, affordable and if the distribution of productive capital was disseminated in the form of job training programs.
Reducing income inequality is paramount to sustaining our future generations, and it should NOT require providing handouts in the form of instant government transfer payments, but it should involve teaching a man to fish instead of giving him fish to eat for little or no effort.
In order for the purposeful man to contribute a substantial amount to the economy in which he participates in through his endless cravings for commercial items, he necessitates the motivation to help with the production of the many items that he incessantly consumes.
When unfortunate people are educated on the subject of why human labor is essential for long-term well-being and on why it's essential for society to co-exist with a thriving market, it makes them appreciate their contributions to the economy through sufficient labor.
This is why we need job training programs to help individuals who are stuck in poverty traps.
The Goodwill charitable organization understands this, and they help millions of disabled people find meaning through work.
Capitalism is an ideal economic system for economic growth because it provides a blank slate for society to eventually create the competitive impetus individuals rely on to transcend their own sense of poverty through substantial work which benefits everyone in the entire marketplace, as many workers create the desired services and commercial items that most consumers crave.
As more workers help with production, prices for most consumer items plummets and this creates the desired services that many consumers want at little cost.
As each producer's competitive streak increases to maximize profits and increase sales, companies will engage in price warring and this will significantly reduce prices which beneficially impacts every consumer.
If Uber didn't exist, most Taxi services would still charge outrageous prices because of a monopolistic Taxi Guild, and the advent of the driverless car that Google is investing in would reduce prices even more for Taxis.
This combination of productivity and competitiveness has an advantage in the economy by making it cheaper for consumers to buy the essential products they need.
But in summation, income inequality creates aberrant social behavior that affects not just the poor but everyone in society, and if income inequality becomes too severe, a revolution may be imminent as history has repeatedly revealed to us (French Revolution as an example).
A lot of social problems were ubiquitous during the Gilded Age of the late 1800s as income inequality soared during this time of mass privatization, and much of the crime that was widespread was related to rapid economic growth that drastically accelerated urbanization, which led to fewer resource management and poor city planning, because many city planners couldn't handle the rapid expansion of industries, which crippled sanitary conditions and led to mass migration that exacerbated crime.
Modern civilization and all of its revolutionizing marvels were the byproducts of capitalism and reduced government regulation, but much of that progress was unexpected and the effects of mass industrialization was such a novel force that it drastically altered the way humans live- pollution and crime was rampant during the American Industrial Revolution, as many industries felt profits were more important than maintaining environmental sustainability and providing decent wages.
During the Gilded Age, private police, like the Pinkerton Agents were the norm because much of the public sector that we take for granted today was very small and hardly existent.
So in summation, although capitalism improves material living standards for millions of people, there are externalities and problems associated with laissez faire capitalism that must be handled in a sufficient manner.
The wealthy have a huge responsibility to ensure that much of the negative externalities induced from capitalism are extinguished from society- with money comes great power and the only way to ameliorate the world and promote progress is by reducing the negative effects of social discord characteristic of unbridled capitalism- not by hoarding wealth and bribing politicians for more subsidies.
Why is it that in America we're fine with giving welfare to corporations in the form of subsidies to Corporations like McDonald's but we're not okay with providing welfare or assistance to the disabled or elderly.
Both Democrats and Republicans are corrupt and they do not represent the values of the American public.
Republicans, with their constant desire for neoliberal nonsense, are definitely a problem in our society.
